Born in Liverpool, UK.
Based in the North West of England.
Co-founder of Collage Collective MCR.
As a freelance disciplinary artist, working with virtual reality and simulation, I create worlds which test the boundary between fiction and reality. Suspended in reality, I weave narratives where parts of contemporary life are pushed to extremes, revealing the bare-bones of human nature. Through using VR, AR, 3d modelling, film and installation, I am able to create an intimate experience with the audience via immersion, calling them to play with ideas, question formalised structures and deconstruct our relationship with the natural, spiritual and technological world.
Having grown up in a deeply political city, the digital materiality of my work is intended to be accessible to anyone with access to the internet. By publishing my rendered works online, I aim to produce a greater level of inclusivity within my practice.
With regular visits to Snowdonia National Park and the Peak District (as well as Delamere Forest), my work has turned further towards ecology; recently, I have been creating work looking at mycology in relation to metaphysics and spirituality.
